CPR Programs

Let Us Train You! Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton is accredited by the American Heart Association as a Basic Life Support Training Center. Certified instructors follow the standards for teaching, testing and course completion that have been developed by the American Heart Association. Daytime and evening courses are available at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. We also are available to hold CPR classes at your business, school or community organization site when eight or more people are interested.

CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resusitation)

Heartsaver CPR
This class is designed for the layperson. Participants will learn how to perform CPR on adults only. Registration is required.

Heartsaver & Pediatric CPR
This course is designed for the layperson. Participants will learn how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants. Registration is required.

Pediatric CPR
If there is a child in your house, you should know Pediatric CPR. This class is designed for parents and caregivers. Registration is required.

Healthcare Provider
This comprehensive course is designed for healthcare providers. Registration is required.

First Aid Class
The first few minutes count in a medical emergency. That's why knowledge and training in first aid is so pertinent. The skills taught in this course will help you respond calmly and effectively in an emergency. Parents, coaches and teachers are all welcome. Registration is required.




The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in CPR and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the association.
