CINJ Hamilton combines the resources of a leading cancer care center with those of a national award-winning hospital-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton). Because our freestanding facility is located on the hospital's campus, we provide a full range of treatment options for your cancer or related condition.
Our Hamilton-based physicians are full-time faculty members of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) in New Brunswick. CINJ, hosted by the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, is the state's only National Cancer Institute-designated clinical cancer center and one of only 41 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation. Through our affiliation with CINJ, we offer opportunities for you to participate, whenever possible, in research studies both in Hamilton and New Brunswick, and we apply the latest findings to your care.
Our interdisciplinary approach provides a customized treatment plan to meet our patients' specific needs. In addition, we offer a variety of services from helping navigate insurance coverage to integrative therapies such as Beside HarpTM and pet therapy, to genetic counseling. Our HOPE (Hereditary Oncology Prevention and Evaluation) Program, an important on-site resource, is designed for anyone who is concerned about his or her risk of developing cancer based on family history or personal medical history. We also offer language interpreters and pastoral care. We have a full-time social worker available to guide you through the treatment process.

Our medical practice-RWJ Medical Oncology at Hamilton-has twice been honored with the prestigious Summit Award given by Press Ganey, a leading organization for polling patient satisfaction levels in the healthcare industry.
