RWJ Hamilton Auxiliary Supports Hospital's Lakefront Tower

HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY - The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton) Auxiliary recently presented a $30,000 donation to the hospital during the organization's annual meeting. The funds raised help fulfill the Auxiliarys $175,000 pledge toward the building campaign for the hospitals Lakefront Tower. This marks the third year that they have contributed towards their goal. The four-story Lakefront Tower includes 64 private patient rooms, an expanded maternity unit, and rooms devoted to medical/surgical, stroke and orthopedics care.

The building's design incorporates the healing elements of nature and rooms provide views of the lake in Hamilton Veterans Park or the Christy Stephenson Grounds For Healing; The RWJ Hamilton Auxiliary continually strives to improve the quality of healthcare through advocacy, fundraising and service. Their fundraising activities include: jewelry, flower, book and bake sales; bus trips; flea markets; and the annual Tree of Lights ceremony.
