March of Dimes Celebrates RWJ Hamilton

Denise Vaccaro, chairperson of the March of Dimes Mercer County (right) presents multiple awards to Michal Glass, director of maternal child health services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton at The March of Dimes Mercer County Awards Party on June 26. The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health.

Hospital employees participated in the 2008 March for Babies, supporting lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.

RWJ Hamilton received a Crystal Award for fundraising as well as the highly-regarded Mission Triangle Award, which goes to the organization demonstrating exceptional dedication to the March of Dimes mission. Glass was also honored with the Team Leader of the Year Award for Mercer County for her commitment and efforts to boost awareness.
